Top Ten Reasons to Have a Swimming Pool

  1. To swim in.  Let’s get that one out of the way right off the top.  If you don’t swim, perhaps you should learn.  Not only is it fun, but it is a good survival skill.
  2. Less grass to cut and gravel to rake.  Pools take up space.  Although they aren’t maintenance-free, they are less work than a lawn.
  3. Water is soothing to look at.  The oasis-effect is undeniably peaceful.
  4. Use it for testing in the “float or sink?” game.
  5. It’s easier to explain the pool boy.

Before you Jump in the Pool

It’s great to swim with your pets but not a great idea to swim with your Solar-Breeze.  Youngsters may decide it is more of a toy than a tool.  Dogs may treat it like a raft.  When climbing on top of it they will scratch the solar-panels.  Larger dogs and children will submerge the unit.Bobby-and-Chauncy.JPG

The Solar-Breeze is designed to survive a small amount of submersion but it is much happier on the surface – skimming, cleaning and sanitizing your pool, all powered by the Sun.

Remove your Solar-Breeze from the pool Before You Jump In.  Treat it right and your robot will keep your pool sparkling clean for years.  For more information on how to maintain your robotic pool skimmer, take a look at the Owners' Manual.

P.S. – The blue navigation lights on the corners remind you of its presence and location.  That way you won't land on top of it when you take that midnight dip.

IT'S GOING TO GET MESSY!

Are you ready for fall?Frank-Wall-cropped-SB.jpg

Pine needles, mesquite leaves, bougainvillea, palm flowers, leaves of all sorts....blowing into your pool and mucking it up.

If this mess becomes waterlogged and sinks to the bottom, it will take more energy to clean your pool and more chemicals to rebalance and sanitize it.

This is when Solar-Breeze really shines.

Cottage in the City

The pool practically looks after itself since we have a Solar-Breeze.  The garden lies fallow in the Arizona heat.  The compost is cooking.  The monsoon winds brought down a major limb of our mesquite tree so we trimmed and tidied the trees.  We have finally cleaned up the dirt from the Haboob that enveloped the Valley of the Sun a couple of weeks ago.

So now we have more time to do the fun summer things but not enough time off to head out of town.  Having a backyard pool is like going to the Cottage after 5pm everyday and still being back at work the next morning.
